Ramblings

I haven't posted in a while. I seem to be having a bit of insomnia this week. Tonight included. No good reason for it. OK - no good reason other than sleeping on the pull-out couch. Shaun's parents are here so we gave them our bed. I don't usually have trouble sleeping on it. Tonight it is making me crazy. LOL. At least you all get an update on my life, I guess.

Where to start. I almost PMS-freaked-out again (see the Ritalin blog Dec 23 for more info on that). Went to the doc. Now I am on anti-depressants too. Am a little nervous about taking so many brain-altering drugs. Apparently these are a common combination, even though they can a have a bad interaction. I am a little scared of that. My doctor didn't know. The pharmacist told me. I may get really irritable and anxious. I guess combined, the anti-depressants would have the opposite effect. I just feel like one of "those" people right now. We all know them. Take all sorts of drugs. And talk about them. Like they somehow need attention from everyone. I feel like I am turning into my mother!

On a completely different note.... Shaun parents gave him their digital camera for his birthday. How cool is that? They won one, se we got theirs. It's only a year or two old, I think. It is pretty nice so we are excited.

We also just got Widnows XP. What a difference that made! It's like getting a whole new computer, acutally. It sped it up SO much. The 'accursed' WinME was really slogging through stuff, esepecially when it came to the internet. We thought our comp was dying! We are glad that we don't have to buy a new one that we can't afford!
